After completing his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Nicolas Villers continued in specialising in bass and double bass trombone at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts).

At the present time, Nicolas is a bass trombonist in the orchestra of the Royal Opera of Wallonia (Liège - Belgium).

He is a member of the Open Slide ensemble, but he also regularly performs with various contemporary music ensembles, such as the ensemble Ictus, Musiques Nouvelles, Sturm und Klang, ...

Nicolas Villers teaches the trombone at the Welkenraedt Academy of Music and is Assistant at the Royal Conservatory of Liège as a specialist in the bass and double bass trombone.
